About Tim Pierce

Tim Pierce is the founding Director of Zeros&Ones. Tim was born in Papua New Guinea and raised in Wanaka, amongst the mountains, lakes and wilderness of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, an adventurous background which has led him to carve out a niche for himself as an extreme sports photographer, cinematographer and director. He has gained an international reputation as a man who is prepared to go to the edge to capture imagery & stories of some of the world’s most talented athletes for major global clients which include Atomic, The North Face and Red Bull. Tim uses Zeros and Ones, the production company that he has created, to house his work and to harness his concepts.

Tim has combined his years of experience as a photographer/cinematographer with his creative skills, to direct and shoot short films, commercials, feature documentaries and television across a wide range of genres. As a director, Tim has a remarkable sense of story and nuance. He has the ability to capture the connections that happen between people. His work resonates with insight and emotion.
